Build Your Booty: Beginners 8 Week Programme

This programme has been specifically designed to optimise your glute growth.

This programme is only suitable for complete beginners who are new to lifting (i.e. you have only been lifting for 3 months or less). There is a Build Your Booty Programme if you are more experienced. If you are unsure of which programme is most suitable for you, please contact me via email or DM me on Instagram - @alicelyoung.

To complete this programme you will need access to:

  • Barbell

  • Resistance Bands (ideally a heavy hip circle band)

  • Squat Rack

  • Smith Machine

  • Cable Machine

  • Abduction Machine

This programme has been designed to:

  • Maximise your glute development

  • Educate why certain exercises are better using scientific principles

  • Demonstrate how to optimise your glute training

  • Teach the anatomy and biomechanics of the glutes, giving a foundational understanding of this area

This isn't just any old programme. It comes with guidelines for:

 

  • Periodisation: within this is block, step, nonlinear and more
  • Rest periods
  • Exercise order
  • Autoregulation
  • Sets and reps
  • Progression schemes
